Greg Micek is a nationally recognized inventor advocate, entrepreneur, and founder of the Houston Inventors Association (HIA) and Young Inventors Showcase (YIS). For over 40 years, he has championed innovation, empowering inventors through education and public service. As the force behind YIS, Greg is leading a global rollout of an 8-week curriculum that trains educators to inspire young minds to invent and develop market-ready solutions. His achievements include launching 13 six-figure crowdfunding campaigns through the “Innovation Pod” initiative and growing HIA into the largest local inventors’ organization in the U.S. A non-practicing attorney and business “architect,” Greg has dedicated his career to bridging gaps in innovation and advocating for inventor rights. He has led initiatives blending public safety and economic empowerment, earning recognition as a “Houston Hero” in the Houston Chronicle. His fight against Big Tech in a $12 million patent battle underscores his commitment to independent inventors, while his work with US Inventor drives systemic change. Through resilience and vision, Greg continues to shape the future of invention and entrepreneurship.

Anita is the Managing Director of Royal Roots Global Inc. She has close to 20 years of management-consulting experience in market entry, investments and negotiation, serving Chinese companies in the U.S. and U.S. companies in China. Her work experience spans China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the U.K. and the U.S. In her prior experience, Anita was a commodity futures trader on the SIMEX floor and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange floor. She also spent eight years in the Treasury Department of four leading European banks in Hong Kong, trading debt-market instruments, currencies and derivative instruments. Anita is featured regularly by the press to share her experience in the U.S.-China bilateral markets, including The Financial Times, World News Journal, China Fortune, China Daily, Crain’s Chicago Business, Business 2.0, WTTW Channel 11, China’s Technological Pioneers magazine, and Xinhua News Agency. Anita holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and a BBA Summa Cum Laude in economics from Loyola University in Chicago. She is a Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science and a member of the Expert Committee of the Beijing-based Chinese Business Productivity Research Center.
